Job Role: Care Training & Development Manager
Hours: Full Time - 37.5hrs
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Brentford (Main Base) + travel to our other locations as required (Liverpool, Brighton & London)

We are looking for a Training and Development Manager who can lead, inspire, and develop our workforce, making sure every member of staff has the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding care across our services in Brentford, Liverpool, Brighton and London.

About You
We’re looking for a confident, credible and hands-on training professional who can engage and influence people at all levels of the organisation.
You will bring:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar health and social care training role
- A strong understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, MCA, DoLS and the Care Act
- Experience delivering or managing mandatory training programmes across care services
- The ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive positive change across teams
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership development skills
- Confidence working with systems such as Nourish or other electronic care record systems
- A recognised training qualification (such as Level 3 Teaching & Assessing, Care Certificate Trainer, or Moving & Handling Trainer), or a willingness to work towards one
About the Role:
As the Care Training and Development Manager, you will take the lead on developing, delivering and improving training across the organisation, making sure staff have the skills and confidence they need to provide safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering induction, training and ongoing development for staff
- Carrying out training needs analysis across services and responding to gaps in learning
- Working closely with Service Managers to make sure training is relevant and effective
- Creating and updating training materials so they stay current and useful
- Reviewing training delivery and making improvements where needed
- Supporting the rollout of the Care Certificate for new starters
- Keeping accurate training and compliance records up to date
- Helping identify staff potential and supporting development opportunities
- Working with senior leaders on projects that improve practice and service delivery
