We are looking for an experienced and confident Deputy Manager that is ready to take on a new role, supporting our service in West London. If you have a passion for providing high-quality care and leading teams to deliver the best outcomes for residents, this is the role for you.

St. Raphael's Home offers accommodation, support and care to 21 people with learning disabilities with a broad range of support and care needs. The accommodation is provided between two buildings located adjacent to each other. The original St. Raphael's building comprises eight ensuite bedrooms, with staff support for personal care throughout the day, and a waking night staff. Fatima House provides 13 bedrooms split between first and ground floor with large walk-in showers and specialist bathrooms. Both buildings are fitted with a lift, so the rooms are accessible to all.

What We're Looking For
 To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A compassionate, caring nature and a genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working with people with learning disabilities, and complex needs
  • Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of current policy and practice issues in social care and support, including tenancy related support
  • Ability to lead a team dedicated to meeting the wishes and needs of Service Users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication alongside strong administrative skills
  • A willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service users.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, we cannot offer sponsorship or work visas)

About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will be leading a dedicated team, supporting residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Your role will include:

  • Ensuring the service supports individual needs, promotes life and social skills, and maintains a homely environment.
  • Collecting required information and ensure Care Plans and Person-Centred Plans are implemented, monitored, and regularly reviewed.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in recruiting, inducting, supervising, and managing staff in line with service standards and policies.
  • Monitoring staff performance to meet service standards, identifying and addressing training and development needs as required.
  • Assisting the Service Manager with strategic and financial management, ensuring operations stay within budget and accurate financial records are maintained.
