About the role: 

Being a House Keeper, you will:

Undertaking day to day domestic duties, which will also include laundry duties

Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Comply with infection control and health and safety

Empty all waste bins, taking care to properly dispose of all waste to control infection

Ensure that all COSHH items are kept within sight at all times when in use and never left unattended

Ensure that all equipment, mechanical and electrical is in safe working order

St. Mary’s Home accommodates 40 people with Learning Disabilities. St Mary’s provide a holistic approach to support people to live a happy and fulfilling life, in a welcoming and comfortable environment. About you:

We require an experienced person to plan and carry out agreed maintenance, decoration and minor repairs to St Mary’s home and grounds.  The successful candidate will be expected to assist with the management of external maintenance contractors, and ensure rooms and public areas are clean, safe and tidy both inside and outside.
